Maryland Oncology Hematology, a Maryland-focused medical group providing chemotherapy, biological therapy and other targeted services has chosen 810 Bestgate Road in Annapolis as the site of its inaugural entry into the Anne Arundel County marketplace. Headquartered in Beltsville, the practice signed a lease with St. John Properties, Inc. for 19,676 square feet of space in the four-story, 100,000 square foot Class ‘A” medical office building that is now 75% leased. Stephanie Caronna of St. John Properties represented the landlord, and Gail Chrzan of Blue & Obrecht Realty and Conrad McEachern of CBRE represented the client in this transaction.
More than 70 employees will work from this site, which represents the 14th for Maryland Oncology Hematology. Each location is staffed by a professional medical team which provides a range of services to support a patient’s cancer treatment program. This includes chemotherapy, biological and hormone therapy and immunotherapy. The group also performs clinical trials for new medications under development to treat different types of cancer and regularly recruits for participants.

810 Bestgate Road is part of a two-building development comprised of128,000 square feet of commercial office space. It is located less than two miles from the Anne Arundel Medical Center and downtown Annapolis, three miles from Interstate 97 and 20 miles from Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center occupies 808 Bestgate Road, a single-story 28,000 square foot building located adjacent to 810 Bestgate Road.
