Zibo Welcomes Top PropTech VC Camber Creek as Investor

3/18/21

Zibo, the free all-in-one platform for landlord financial services, today welcomed real estate venture capital firm Camber Creek as an investor. Camber Creek investors own, operate, and manage billions of square feet of real estate in the U.S., giving them a unique competitive advantage as an investor and value-added partner in the real estate technology space. This investment brings Zibo’s total raise to $15M.

“We invest in technology that’s purpose-built for the real estate industry, and Zibo is exactly that,” said Jeffrey Berman, General Partner at Camber Creek. “We’re impressed by their expertise and momentum, and believe their powerful financial services platform will transform the way real estate investors manage their business.”

Camber Creek joins Zibo’s renowned PropTech and FinTech investors, including Canaan Partners, Khosla Ventures, QED Investors, and SVB Capital.

Surpassing $1M in monthly payments volume

Zibo continues to demonstrate traction and recently hit a major milestone as it surpassed $1M in monthly payment volume, with a $15M annual payments run rate. The company celebrates this milestone just six months since the platform’s initial launch in 2020. Today, Zibo provides integrated landlord financial solutions, including banking, rent collection, and expense management, as well as access to top providers and competitive rates for insurance and mortgages.

“While this milestone is exciting for our company, what’s more exciting is that fact that it proves landlords and renters trust Zibo as a secure, modern way to manage their finances,” said Chris Hsu, CEO and Co-Founder of Zibo. “By offering a free platform designed for all of their unique financial needs, we’re delivering on our mission to level the playing field for independent real estate investors so they can save time, stay organized, and improve their cash flow.”

Empowering independent landlords with instant insurance quotes

Zibo also announced a national, digital quoting tool for property insurance. With this launch, independent landlords anywhere in the U.S. can now instantly get a quote for a single family rental property insurance policy — without having to pick up the phone.

The tool provides multiple insurance quotes from top carriers instantly for up to four single-family properties (including duplexes). Real estate investors with more than ten properties can get a quote within 1-2 business days.

“Zibo provided expertise, inspired confidence, and guided us through the complicated task of getting insurance,” said Luke Gile, a real estate investor in Washington, D.C. “They simplified the process and stripped away unnecessary complication in an industry desperately in need of disruption!”

To get a free quote, landlords simply provide basic information about their property or portfolio on Zibo’s insurance page.

Landlords can create a free Zibo account or reach out with any questions at info@zibo.co.
