The Edge Property Services Group has announced the hiring of Peggy E. Hernandez as Property Manager. Formerly, Senior Property Manager for Investment Properties, Inc., she brings more than 16 years of diversified property management and real estate experience to this new position.

In her new role with the company, Ms. Hernandez will oversee the day-to-day asset and property management functions for a portfolio of commercial office and warehouse/industrial buildings situated throughout the greater Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. region. Her emphasis includes increasing the operating efficiency of buildings with the implementation and management of innovative asset management protocols, addressing the day-to-day needs of clients and increasing the value of assets for building owners and investors.

Ms. Hernandez has also worked in several positions with Divaris Real Estate and Divaris Property Management Corporation. She is an active member of the local chapter of Women in Retail Real Estate (WIRRE) and received the WIRRE Founders Award in 2008-2009 and 2014-2015. Ms. Hernandez earned aCertified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
