Plans for two multimillion-dollar housing developments in Gloucester County will move forward.
Tuesday night the Board of Supervisors approved zoning requests for both projects — Fiddler's Crossing and The Crossing at York River — that will bring more than 200 town homes, condos, and apartment to the county.
Board Chairman John Meyer said the projects would help the county meet future housing demands, which he said are projected to continue to rise over the next 20 years. The Planning Commission unanimously backed both proposals in May.
One resident who lives adjacent to the site for The Crossing at York River told the board she was concerned about the type of tenant the development would attract.
