Approximately 11.3 acres of unused land just south of the shopping center that houses Home Depot and Target will go up for sale during an auction scheduled for June 28, according to Roanoke-based real estate auctioneer Woltz & Associates.
The auctioneer announced this week that the land will sell in three tracts along Farmview Road Northwest, with one tract measuring 3 acres and the other two measuring 4 acres each. A minimum total bid for the tracts has been set at $995,000.
The auction, Woltz & Associates stated, also includes the selling of two signage tracts in that same area.
Carl Carter, a Birmingham, Alabama-based spokesman for Woltz & Associates, said the land up for sale is adjacent to the Moose lodge at 115 Farmview Road NW. While he didn’t say exactly what kind of developments the landowner is seeking, he said the vacant property is zoned for commercial use.
