A company planning a $250 million investment in the region has signed a purchase agreement with the Danville-Pittsylvania Regional Industrial Facility Authority for a 300-acre site at the industrial mega park site on Berry Hill Road.
The announcement came after RIFA members emerged from a closed-door meeting Monday.
The agreement with Wilmot Properties LLC — a Delaware limited liability company — calls for the company to purchase the site for $30,000 per buildable acre.
