Averett’s nursing program — which recently received accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education — is poised for more growth after its first four years, faculty and Averett leaders said recently.
“I think we’ve been making very steady progress,” said Averett School of Nursing Dean Pamela Giles.
The undergraduate nursing program recently received accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, which evaluated Averett’s two nursing tracks — a traditional Bachelor of Science in nursing track and an online registered nurse to Bachelor of Science in nursing track.
