Danville City Council approved incentive packages for two upcoming economic development projects during its meeting Tuesday night.
Council members unanimously voted to approve an appropriation ordinance to provide $659,144 for Project Axis and $1 million for Project Cardinal. The vote came after a public hearing Tuesday night.
During an interview before the meeting, City Manager Ken Larking said there will be an announcement for one of the projects next week. Another announcement is expected for late this month or early August, Larking said.
