Stone Brewing Co. will release its first Richmond-brewed beer on Friday.
The first Richmond-brewed beers will be tapped at a public event beginning at 5 p.m. at the Southern Railway Taphouse at 111 Virginia St.
Stone IPA, as well as the beer’s “Virginia Brewery Prototype,” will be kegged from the 220,000-square-foot plant in the Fulton neighborhood east of downtown Richmond.
This prototype beer is the brewery’s test batch of Stone IPA, one of the company’s popular year-round beers.
