Bank of America Student Leaders® from across the country volunteer with the American Red Cross as part of national leadership summit
WHAT: More than 220 Bank of America Student Leaders will convene at the American Red Cross to assemble over 4,200 care kits for veterans and members of the military. Kits will be delivered to medical facilities in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, as part of the American Red Cross Totes of Hope program.
This project takes place during the Bank of America Student Leaders Summit, which convenes community-minded high school students from around the country. Through their participation in the summit, which takes place in conjunction with their work at local nonprofits in their communities, the students are developing a greater understanding of how nonprofits, government and the private sector partner to create positive change. The Student Leaders program equips young people with the workforce and leadership skills needed to succeed, in support of Bank of America’s commitment to build thriving communities.
