There will be two more suborbital rocket launches this year from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility on Virginia's Eastern Shore, according to the center's Twitter account.
The facility near Chincoteague plans to launch a Terrier-Improved Malemute sounding rocket between 6 and 10 a.m. Aug. 16. Backup launch dates are Aug. 17-19.
The flight is part of the RockSat X program, which allows students to build and launch their own experimental payloads
