To celebrate the launch of Deschutes Brewery's Roanoke arrival, the Oregon-based company is hosting several events promoting its beers. This includes its street pub at the end of the month.
For those of you who haven't ordered a beer at a restaurant lately, Deschutes brews are now on tap all over the place. After the brewery announced it was putting its first east coast location in Roanoke in March, it selected Blue Ridge Beverage Co. in Roanoke Countyto distribute its beers in the region. Its beer selections became available on Monday in stores and restaurants all over the area. Several restaurants even hosted Deschutes release parties to mark the occasion.
Now the company is hosting a series of launch of events across southwest Virginia. It's all leading up to the big street pub party on Aug. 27 in downtown Roanoke. Here's the launch event list from Deschutes:
