Chesterfield County-based Tredegar Corp. said Wednesday that its William L Bonnell Co. Inc. subsidiary has agreed to acquire a Utah-based maker of extruded aluminum products.
Tredegar, a maker of aluminum extrusions and plastic films, said it plans to buy 100 percent of the equity interests of Futura Industries Corp. on a net debt-free basis for about $92 million.
The deal is expected to close by mid-February. Tredegar said it will fund the acquisition using its existing revolving credit facility.
The acquisition is expected to immediately contribute to Tredegar’s earnings.
