Maryland Basketball Remains In Top 25 In AP Top 25, USA Today Coaches Poll

Despite a second consecutive 1-1 week, the University of Maryland men's basketball team remained in the top 25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and AP poll, released Feb. 13.

The Terps fell two spots in both rankings, dropping to No. 23 in the AP poll and No. 24 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Gonzaga (26-0) retains the top spot in both polls, followed by Villanova (24-2) and Kansas (22-3).

Maryland is now 21-4 on the season, with a 9-3 record in Big Ten play. During the past week, the Terps lost to Penn State, 70-64, on the road Feb. 7 and defeated Ohio State, 86-77, at home Feb. 11. The loss to Penn State marked the Terps' first road loss of the season.
