It seems Maryland fans are once again facing a similar offseason storyline centering on their star junior point guard.
Will Melo Trimble forgo the NBA Draft and return for his senior season?
Former Terps forward, and current men's basketball sideline reporter for the Maryland Sports Radio Network, Walt Williams thinks Trimble will approach the possibility of joining the NBA the same way he did last May.
Last year, Trimble announced his decision to return to College Park, Md., for his junior season about two hours before the 11:59 p.m. deadline for players to withdraw from the NBA Draft. He was invited to the NBA combine and had workouts with Milwaukee, San Antonio, Atlanta and the Los Angeles Clippers, according to The Washington Post.
