Agribusiness and food production giant Land O’Lakes Inc. plans to build an animal feed manufacturing facility in the Roanoke Valley, the company announced Tuesday.
Plans call for the new plant to open in December 2018, the company said.
Land O’Lakes declined to disclose where the facility would be located, what sort of investment was anticipated or how many people might work there.
“The plans for this new project are evolving, and we don’t have additional details yet to share at this time,” spokeswoman Becky Lentz said.
