So far, so good, as the proposed land swap between Virginia Hospital Center and the Arlington County government continues to make its way through procedural steps.
“We’re on track – moving along as we expected,” said Adrian Stanton, the hospital’s vice president and chief marketing officer, during a March 24 interview.
Hospital officials are seeking to acquire the 5.5-acre North Edison Street property, owned by the county government and located immediately north of the Virginia Hospital Center campus. In exchange, the hospital has offered the county government its choice of a number of parcels, cash or a combination.
