Amherst Milling Company is under contract to be sold and its contents liquidated in an auction that will be held later this month.
Located in the town of Amherst, the business has been in the possession of the Wydner family since its purchase by Richard Wydner Sr. in 1940.
According to Richard Wydner Jr., who owns the old mill along with two brothers, Amherst Milling Company could be sold within the next 30 days.
