The owner and CEO of VIRginia International Raceway in Alton has been appointed to the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) Board of Trustees.
The Virginia House of Delegates selected Connie Nyholm to serve for a three-year term.
IALR’s board Chairman Donald Merricks said Nyholm is a welcome addition to the board. The Danville-based organization seeks to advance applied research, advanced learning, and economic development in Southern Virginia.
