SAIC Awarded $250 Million USDA Contract

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) awarded Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) the Information Technology Governance, Management, Strategy and Security blanket purchase agreement to provide enterprise architecture and security support services to the USDA. The multiple-award agreement has a five year period of performance, and a ceiling value of $250 million for all awardees. SAIC is one of two awardees.

As part of the agreement, awarded under GSA’s IT Schedule 70 contract vehicle, SAIC will provide enterprise architecture, capital planning, and security support services that will streamline and standardize architectures and roadmaps across the USDA. These services will also help to develop robust and modern enterprise architectures for USDA’s customers, including agricultural producers, ranchers, and forest owners.
