California-based Harbor Freight Tools is opening a new store in Bristol, Virginia, that will bring nearly 40 jobs to the region, the company announced Tuesday.
The 15,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late November and will be on Lee Highway near Interstate 81’s Exit 5 in the Bristol Plaza Shopping Center, next to Price Less Foods, according to a company spokeswoman.
With more than 800 stores nationwide, the location will be the discount tool retailer’s 21st in Virginia. Other locations in the region include Wise, Virginia, and Kingsport and Johnson City in Tennessee.
