If you graduate from high school next spring in Martinsville or Henry County, you’ll be able to attend Patrick Henry Community College for free. The new program, funded by The Harvest Foundation, was announced at PHCC on Tuesday.
At the Tuesday announcement, officials from the college and The Harvest Foundation announced The SEED Fund, a joint program that will cover PHCC tuition costs for Martinsville and Henry County students graduating in the spring of 2018.
Greg Hodges, Vice President of Academic and Student Success Services at PHCC, said that the announcement “fundamentally means that beginning with the class of 2018, every graduate in Martinsville and Henry County who lives in this service region will come to Patrick Henry Community College free of charge.”
