This Conference Features A Drone Show, VR Presentations And A Radio Symposium

The 22nd New Bay Government Video Expo on Nov. 28-30 will feature audio/visual experts discussing strategies, trends and future projections, while hundreds of technology providers will display video, broadcast and audiovisual tech (including virtual reality demos).

“It’s an exciting and challenging time to be a video professional,” said Carmel King, executive vice president of New Bay. “As the capabilities and possibilities of video technology advance almost daily – new applications, new formats, new distribution platforms, new means of consumption – it’s critical that professionals continue their education.”

Held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the event includes a discussion on virtual and mixed reality with Steve Koenig, senior director of market research at the Consumer Technology Association, the U.S. trade association representing more than 2,200 consumer technology companies. Filmmaker Mathew John, who has produced many National Park Service videos willtell the story behind last year’s NPS Centennial video.
