SAIC Approves Ernst & Young as Independent Registered Public Accounting Firm

12/17/17

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) announced today that the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of the company approved Ernst & Young LLP as its independent registered public accounting firm for the company’s fiscal year ending February 1, 2019, replacing Deloitte & Touche LLP.

SAIC’s Audit Committee made the decision following a formal competitive review of several independent registered public accounting firms. This action was in line with the Audit Committee’s responsibility to periodically evaluate competitive solicitations from qualified independent registered public accounting firms.

The Audit Committee’s selection was not the result of any disagreement with Deloitte. SAIC thanks Deloitte for its services. Deloitte will continue in its capacity through the completion of its audit services for the company’s fiscal year ending February 2, 2018 and related filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection therewith.
