Trying to wrap your head around blockchain technology? The D.C.–based Chamber of Digital Commerce, on Tuesday, announced the creation of an affiliate nonprofit branch. The Foundation of the Chamber of Digital Commerce willspecifically focus on the education, research and promotion of digital assets and blockchain technology.

“The Foundation of the Chamber of Digital Commerce will serve as a platform to help fuel continued prosperity and growth for the next generation of our industry,” said Perianne Boring, founder and president of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, in a statement.
