Harris Healthcare through its QuadraMed Affinity Corporation entity today announces a material contract with Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS), a 20-year client. Under this new multi-year agreement, Harris Healthcare will provide Affinity Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) software and support for Los Angeles County DHS.
Los Angeles County DHS has been an Affinity RCM client since the early 1990s. After evaluating other financial software products, including those available from their electronic health record provider, DHS opted to renew with Harris Healthcare.
Kent Hargrave, Executive Vice President, Harris Healthcare Financial Solutions, says, "The new contract speaks not only to the value DHS receives having our Affinity RCM software in place, but also the support we provide. We have a close working relationship with DHS and have always delivered solutions to the challenges the County encounters while operating within restricted budgets."
The new contract includes on-site consulting as well as custom query writing services. Los Angeles County DHS plans to install additional financial software components to support streamlined and effective business operations.
