Melissa Raborn just finished a month of training at Telvista and was on her third day on the floor when she found out the company was closing its Danville call-center location, leaving her and roughly 300 other employees out of a job.
“I got hired on here only to find out they’re closing the doors,” Raborn said during a smoke break Saturday outside the Telvista building at 119 Cane Creek Blvd. in Airside Industrial Park.
She faces a stark choice come March 7, when Telvista shuts down the Danville location. Raborn said the company is offering employees jobs at its Dallas, Texas, location, and will cover relocation expenses.
