A local company will be the first to offer network providers and other businesses direct access to the new subsea cables that land in Virginia Beach.
Greg Twitt, founder and president of Globalinx Data Centers, announced the creation of an “international connectivity hub” on Jan. 22 at the Pacific Telecommunications Council’s annual conference in Hawaii.
“This is where we’re going to see the advantages of doing business in Virginia Beach,” said Economic Development Director Warren Harris, who also attended the conference.
