Hold your horses on the pier project. That was the sentiment from members of the Resort Advisory Commission who voted in favor of an independent study to evaluate the economic impact of the pier on Oceanfront businesses.
The recommendation will go to the City Council.
More than 50 people turned out for the public meeting Thursday and learned more about the project from attorney R.J. Nutter, who is representing a consortium of families who want to redevelop the pier and surrounding properties.
