Announcing Thalhimer Gives: Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer Establishes Meaningful Partnership with Noah’s Children

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is excited to announce Thalhimer Gives, a new company initiative focused on increasing community involvement and charitable giving. Through Thalhimer Gives, associates have the opportunity to actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local organizations. Throughout 2018, Thalhimer will partner with six different organizations, nominated by the company’s associates, for a period of two month’s each.

For the months of January and February, the Thalhimer Gives partner organization was Noah’s Children. Noah’s Children, part of Bon Secours Richmond Health System, is Central Virginia’s only pediatric palliative care program. Their holistic, compassionate approach encompasses the needs of infants and children diagnosed with a life-threatening or life limiting illness. They provide for the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their families without charging.

  • Donating financially
  • oThalhimer associates are able to wear jeans every Friday by making a $5 donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization. Associates raised $1,574 for Noah’s Children through “Friday Jeans” and the company contributed a $1,000 match for a total donation of $2,574 to Noah’s Children.
  • Providing much-needed supplies
  • oThalhimer associates donated hundreds of items to Noah’s Children families including play dough, nail polish, books, movies, puzzles, snacks and toiletries through a supply drive.
  • Giving generously of their time
  • oThalhimer partnered with Noah’s Children for three unique volunteer opportunities and provided associates paid time off to give back.
  • §Valentine’s Day Gift Packaging
  • Thalhimer associates volunteered to package special Valentine's Day gift bags and design cards for Noah’s Children families.
  • §Meals for Munchkins Grocery Shopping
  • Thalhimer associates volunteered to grocery shop for a designated list of items for Noah’s Children families.
  • §Home Improvement Project
  • Thalhimer associates volunteered to paint a master bedroom in the home of a Noah's Children family.
