Roanoke City Manager Bob Cowell is assigning staff within the city’s economic development department to focus on innovation and economic inclusion.
The city announced the “cluster,” as its called, in a Tuesday news release. It will be lead by Marc Nelson, a special projects coordinator in the economic development department, and Aisha Johnson, assistant to the city manager.
