Instead of looking at new development projects for the Oceanfront piecemeal, the city is eyeing the larger picture. And it wants to hear from the public about its latest plans.
A workshop on the newly enlarged “Entertainment District” will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Input is also being sought through a public survey until March 30.
People can learn about the city’s vision district, which now stretches from 14th Street to 20th and from the beach to Birdneck Road.
It previously encompassed mainly 19th Street from the Convention Center to the Dome site’s east end.
