Maria Jimenez

SECU – Maryland’s largest credit union – has named Maria Jimenez to serve as a Community Market Leader.

In her new position, Jimenez will focus on growing and developing SECU’s presence in the Silver Spring community through the credit union’s new location there. She will also support overall membership growth and community development for SECU’s network of 22 branches.

“As we evolve the branch model to be more immersed in the communities surrounding our branches, Maria will work with other SECU locations, area businesses, and their employees to share the benefit of banking with SECU and provide the tools and resources needed to help them grow,” says Joseli Wright, Senior Vice President of Retail Banking. “We are excited to have someone with Maria’s extensive experience and networking skills join our retail team.”

Jimenez comes to SECU from First United Bank and Trust, where she served as a Community Market Manager. She has eight years of experience in banking and auto sales.
