Williamsburg Health Foundation Announces New Leader

What began as a nationwide search in November ended close to home.

The Williamsburg Health Foundation board of trustees unanimously named current Lackey Clinic Executive Director Carol Sale as the organization’s next president and CEO. She will take over the role held by Jeanne Zeidler, who announced her plans to retire late last year.

Sale described the appointment as an honor and praised her predecessor’s leadership in a news release.

“I look forward to working with the foundation’s talented, dedicated staff,” she said. “Together, we will continue to rely upon the very strong committee structure of the board of trustees and knowledge of the community and expertise about health represented on the board, to build an even better culture of health in greater Williamsburg.”
