Here’s The Plan For The DC Stop On The Tech Jobs Tour

Last year, a group of organizations looking to get 100,000 people from diverse and non-traditional backgrounds hired in tech announced plans to hit the road with a multi-city tour.

More than a year and 25 cities later, the Tech Jobs Tour is set to make its stop in D.C. Organizers are working to balance out the disparity between the growing number of people graduating coding schools, and the amount of unfilled tech jobs in the country. The event, set for the evening of May 17 at WeWork White House, looks to provide connections that will help.

“The goal of the Tour is to bring together diverse and non-traditional tech talent with companies who need their skills the most,” Tech Jobs Tour’sOscar Robles tells us.
