DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Edward "Smitty" Smith, a partner in the firm's Washington, DC, office, has been named to World Economic Forum's 2018 class of Young Global Leaders.

Every year, the Forum honors 100 outstanding and uniquely accomplished individuals under the age of 40 from around the world who have been nominated in recognition of their "ground-breaking work, creative approaches to problems and ability to build bridges across cultures and between business, government and civil society."
