McDaniel College Appoints Janelle Holmboe As VP Of Enrollment Management And Dean Of Admissions

Janelle Holmboe has been selected as the new vice president of enrollment management and dean of admissions at McDaniel College following a national search. She joins McDaniel effective mid-July.

As a member of McDaniel’s leadership team, she will be responsible for developing and implementing the college’s enrollment management, financial aid and marketing strategies. She brings to McDaniel a wide range of strategic enrollment and marketing experience coupled with strong financial skills and leadership expertise.

“I am thrilled to have Janelle join McDaniel,” said McDaniel College President Roger N. Casey. “Her experience in enrollment management and admissions, coupled with her energy and enthusiasm, will be embraced by our community.”

Since 2015, she has served as vice president for enrollment and marketing at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, N.C., where she has led the admission, financial aid and marketing team in the implementation of multi-year strategies such as an institutional rebrand and a comprehensive website redesign and launch.

She has previously worked as dean of admissions at American International College in Springfield, Mass., and associate director of graduate and professional admissions at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore.

Holmboe has been a member of the Ruffalo Noel-Levitz 2016 advisory committee and on the board of the Advertising Club of Western Massachusetts.

A native Californian, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English, as well as a certificate of Enrollment Management from the University of Southern California, in addition to an M.B.A. from George Fox University in Portland, Ore.
