This is my third article in a series that I refer to as “Panning For Gold.” In the previous episodes you may recall that I explained my rationale for the series: to uncover valuable gems in the specialty REIT sector.
In the first article I focused on the specialty Lodging REIT known as Ryman Hospitality (RHP) – shares up over 28% since my article in October 2017. And in my second article I decided to take a deep dive into the specialty finance REIT known as Hannon Armstrong (HASI), shares are down 24% year-to-date.
