Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that partner Tim Lyden has been named Executive Leader of the Year by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Lyden received the recognition as part of the Chamber’s annual Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards.

The Executive Leader of the Year award is presented to a D.C. metro region executive for outstanding contributions to his or her company and above-and-beyond leadership in the community during the past year. An advocate for the community known to encourage community involvement, Lyden was selected from a group of eight finalists.

Leading by example, Lyden, who serves as the Citizenship Partner in the firm’s Northern Virginia office, has spearheaded numerous initiatives, including serving dinner to vulnerable populations, providing nonprofits with pro bono IP advice, and staffing legal clinics for homeless residents atthe Eleanor U. Kennedy Shelter in Alexandria. He also is an active member of the Board of Directors of Legal Services of Northern Virginia, having previously served as president.

Long considered one of the must-attend events for businesses in the Washington region, the Northern Virginia Chamber’s Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards honor individuals, businesses, and nonprofits for above-and-beyond business leadership, employee engagement, and corporate social responsibility. Winners were announced at the organization’s annual Chairman’s Luncheon.
