Walker & Dunlop, Inc. announced today that it has hired David Wilkins as Managing Director and Charlie Krisfalusi as Vice President in its FHA Finance group. The team will establish Walker & Dunlop's presence in the Detroit, Michigan market. Messrs. Wilkins and Krisfalusi are responsible for originating multifamily loans, with a focus on the Midwest region and expertise in the lending programs of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac.

Messrs. Wilkins and Krisfalusi have nearly four decades of combined experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, they originated multifamily loans at Pillar Financial, a division of SunTrust Bank. Mr. Wilkins previously was the principal of GTC Finance, Inc, a loan brokerage firm that he founded in 1995.
