CFG Community Bank Names Tucker McNulty As VP, Commercial Relationship Manager

CFG Community Bank, a locally owned and operated community bank, recently appointed Tucker McNulty as vice president, commercial relationship manager.

In his new role, McNulty will solicit prospects and referral sources for new commercial loan and deposit opportunities, negotiate loan terms and bank documents, ensure loans are properly risk rated, and support the bank’s community development and commercial banking relationship efforts.

Throughout his career, McNulty has focused on building a strong regional network with partnerships at all levels. His professional experience includes many successful business development initiatives, strategic planning, board development, administration and management.

Prior to CFG Community Bank, McNulty served in numerous senior-level positions for the Harford County Office of Economic Development, where he had administrative oversight of all state and local funding and incentive programs such as direct loans, grants, investments and tax incentives. While in this position, he was also manager of the Economic Development Opportunity Fund and Workforce Technical Training Grant Program.

Further, McNulty was the business development manager of the Maryland Department of Commerce and loan officer of Provident Bank, where he increased market share of high quality lending products through innovative third party partnerships, existing customers, realtor relationships and external sources. As an investment officer/client advisor for Mercantile Capital Advisors, he provided private wealth and investment management to achieve client and portfolio objectives.

McNulty has counseled businesses of various sizes and types, leading several projects in excess of $150 million dollars involving Fortune 500 companies and playing an integral role in the growth at Aberdeen Proving Ground, which has transformed Harford County into a national research and development center. In addition to working with large companies, he has also been involved with early stage companies, expanding Harford County’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

McNulty earned a B.A. in economics and political science from Elon University, a degree in international studies from the University of London, several certifications from the International Economic Development Council of which he is also a member, and is currently pursuing an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore.
