Maryland Secretary of Commerce Mike Gill declared Bridges “Open for Business” in the new, Hanover headquarters as he addressed a crowd gathered to celebrate Bridges’ Grand Opening. Secretary Gill and Anne Arundel Economic Development

Corporation President/CEO Julie Mussog presented Bridges with two citations in recognition of their cybersecurity services.

At the June 20th event, Bridges hosted about 150 people – state and local government officials, coworkers, customers, partners, and friends – to celebrate their new facility and take the opportunity to thank many who helped to bring the vision of this new “Innovation & Collaboration” center to life. The Grand Opening event is the culmination of design work that began almost a year ago in partnership with JLL, Arris Design, and Mazzuca Contracting, plus branded elements from Hersick+Webster.

Bridges CEO Chuck Faughnan, III said, “Bridges’ goals are becoming concrete realities. A year ago, this space was a concept, and now we have our name on the building, five summer interns in our Innovation Lab, and a strong approach on new business opportunities. All of this would not be possible if it were not for the excellent service delivery of our talented workforce in customer spaces. We see ripe opportunities ahead as we continue to work on aggressive goals to launch the company forward. We are excited about our future!”

Many commented on the bright, open design and how Bridges culture is visible from the moment one walks through the door. Core values and behaviors are integrated into the lobby’s feature wall and in key work spaces. The space was designed to “foster collaboration, engagement, and innovation for creative solutions to serious problems.

We have created a compelling place to experiment with technology, brainstorm, visit for team meetings, host events, and have some fun,” said Faughnan.
