JLL Tapped to Lease Two Million Square Foot Capitol Crossing Project

Property Group Partners today announced that JLL’s Doug Mueller and Evan Behr have been engaged to execute a new leasing and brand strategy for Capitol Crossing, one of the largest and most complicated developments in Washington, D.C. The 2.2 million-square-foot mixed-use development, built atop I-395, recently delivered the first phase, at 200 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., of the five-building project.

JLL’s Washington, D.C. Agency Leasing team will lead all branding, marketing and office leasing activity at Capitol Crossing. Streetsense has been tapped to lead the leasing of the estimated 100,000 square feet of amenity driven, primarily Food & Beverage, retail space.

All buildings at Capitol Crossing will exceed LEED® Platinum certification, including 200 and 250 Massachusetts Avenue. 200 Massachusetts Avenue, located at 2nd Street and Massachusetts Avenue, NW, offers 430,500 square feet across 12 stories. It is adjacent to 250 Massachusetts Avenue which is comprised of 566,136 square feet across two towers connected by a 60,000-square foot “super floor,” and will deliver in the third quarter of 2019. Designed by premier architecture firm Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates, the buildings feature a cantilevered slab structural system that enables perimeter offices to be column-free. Best in market amenities and exciting retailers will fill the Capitol Crossing neighborhood.
