Lee & Associates Maryland, a fully-integrated commercial real estate brokerage and management firm has announced the appointment of Brian Streilein to Vice President of Investment Services and Capital Markets. He was formerly Director – Investment Sales for Cushman & Wakefield in the New York area.

In his new role, Mr. Streilein will concentrate on the sale of mid-market commercial office, industrial, and flex/office investment properties throughout Maryland and Washington, D.C. region. This includes attracting and representing sellers of commercial real estate properties including private investors, estates, real estate investment trusts, pension fund advisors and life insurance companies.

Throughout the course of his career, Streilein has assisted on the closing of more than 50 transactions valued at more than $225 million in the greater New York City area. He has also provided valuations of more than 500 properties valued at over $2 billion.

Mr. Streilein earned a Bachelor’s of Arts and Sciences Degree in Communications from Villanova University where he played on the varsity baseball team. He was subsequently drafted by the Houston Astros baseball club and spent three seasons in the minor league system.
