Pessin Katz Law, P.A. (PK Law) is pleased to announce that Attorney Ashley N. Nelson-Raut has been selected to be a 2018-2019 GameChanger for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults' GameChangers recognition is awarded to outstanding young professionals in the Baltimore-area who are going above and beyond at work and in the community. As a 2018 Awardee, Ms. Nelson-Raut was selected by a committee because she has demonstrated excellence in her profession, shown a commitment to the betterment of her community, and has displayed leadership among her peers. As part of being named a GameChanger, Ms. Nelson-Raut will participate in opportunities for personal and professional development, engaging volunteer opportunities, education on the young adult cancer fight, and raise more than $3,000 for the Ulman Cancer Fund.

Ms. Nelson-Raut is an Associate with PK Law and is part of the firm’s Wealth Preservation Group. She focuses her practice on advising clients in the areas of estate planning, elder care, estate and trust administration, and income taxation of trusts and estates.

Ms. Nelson-Raut graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2017. While in Law School, she was an Associate Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Forum, a member of the Royal Shannonhouse III Honor Society, Historian of the Phi Delta Phi International Honor Society, and Law Scholar for ILS/Civil Procedure for Professor John Bessler.Ms. Nelson-Raut participates in the annual Kennedy Krieger Institute Planning for Families of Children and Adults with Developmental Disabilities Workshop night, and is an Escalation Workshop Facilitator with the One Love Foundation.

The program will culminate at The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults’ annual Blue Jeans {& Bowties} Ball, where Ms. Nelson-Raut will be recognized and celebrated for her award.
