Zarren Law Group, LLC (ZLG) is pleased to announce that Chiara King has joined TeamZLG.

Ms. King is a business and tax lawyer focused on various types of business transactions. Prior to joining ZLG, Chiara handled an array of deals and tax matters working exclusively with a prominent business law and tax attorney. Practicing law is a second career for Chiara as she previously served as the Controller of a fast-paced real estate and hospitality business for fifteen years. In that role, she handled all accounting and financial functions and oversaw operations.

When not practicing law, Chiara is focused on giving back to those less fortunate. She served as a volunteer attorney for the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service and represented clients through Civil Justice, Inc. Ms. King also has a passion for writing and has authored various articles that were published in national periodicals.

Chiara obtained her J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2014. While in law school, she served as a student attorney in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and wrote for The Authority, a nationally distributed housing law digest. She obtained a B.S. in Mathematics from Towson University in 2001.
