AOBA Appoints Annabel I. Bendz as Manager of Meetings, Programs and Events

Annabel brings more than 14 years’ experience in programs, events and association operations – including 10 as staff for the Association for Corporate Growth in the National Capital region as well as consulting for international governments and private sector clients.

Annabel will be responsible for planning and executing AOBA’s Annual Meeting, Commercial Awards competition and event (including the TOBY, Commercial Engineer and KEEP awards); NAA Maintenance Mania competition; Golf Tournament; Emergency Preparedness Committee and annual seminar; the Rising Leaders program; annual Holiday Party and more.

After more than 30 years of service, AOBA’s Director of Special Events Pam Oeler will retire effective July 31. Over the decades, Pam has dedicated her time, energy and expertise to making AOBA’s signature programs successful.

“An exceptional staff member who is a friend to hundreds of members, Pam has demonstrated an amazing ability to execute outstanding events over the course of her tenure at AOBA. We wish Pam the very best in her future adventures.
