Build Something New And Give Back At DCFemTech’s Hack For Good

Projects are starting to take shape for DCFemTech’s Hack For Good.

The two-day hackathon organized by D.C.’s coalition of women-in-tech groups is scheduled for July 28-29 at Booz Allen Hamilton Innovation Center.

The hackathon puts a priority on community, bringing people interested in using tech to solve problems together, and working on projects that benefit nonprofits and give back. There’s not as much emphasis on winning.

“This is a different kind of hackathon,” the event description states. “No competition, no award money; just bringing people together to learn, make connections, and build something awesome!”
