ESJ Capital Partners, LLC (ESJ), a full-service investment management firm based in Aventura, today announced the $45 million acquisition of four charter school facilities. The properties are located in Arizona, Ohio and Washington, DC.
As a whole, they total over 176,000 square feet and serve over 3,000 students in grades K-8. The four schools are operated by Imagine Schools, a national network of public charter schools. ESJ is buying the portfolio from EPR Properties (NYSE: EPR).
One of ESJ Capital Partners’ key investment strategies is supporting the facility needs of private and charter educational institutions throughout the United States via regulated, closed-end investment funds. Currently, the firm has 28 charter and private school facilities within its real estate portfolio with a value exceeding $650 million.
