Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of six transactions totaling 25,530 square feet of new and renewed commercial space throughout the greater Hampton Roads, Virginia market.

Lease Transactions

Swaghat Groceries leased 13,952 square feet of retail space in The Gallery at Military Circle located at 920 North Military Highway in Norfolk, Va. Missy Martinovich represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. The former Chuck E. Cheese location will be refurbished and will open in three months as an Indian grocery and restaurant.

i+iconSOUTHEAST, Inc. leased 5,530 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Thurston Avenue property located at 5700 Thurston Avenue in Virginia Beach. Krista Costa and Katherine Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Shannon & Bedois, P.C. subleased 1,498 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Harbour Breeze Professional Center Building 5 located at 1540 Breezeport Way in Suffolk, Va. Krista Costa and Katherine Olson represented the sublessor in the lease negotiations.

Lease Renewals

Gary A. Riggs, Jr., DMD renewed a lease for 2,500 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Aberdeen Professional Center located at 1610 Aberdeen Road in Hampton. Aeri Jai and Mary McGovern represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Little Caesars renewed its lease for 1,250 square feet and Mimi’s African Braiding renewed its lease for 800 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Todd Shopping Center located at 2328 West Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, Va. Aeri Jai and Mary McGovern represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
